Hi everyone,
I am a stable and financially secure prison-activist seeking friendship from the outside world (it's because of my activism that I'm in solitary confinement and can't attach a smiling photograph with this ad).
Although I've already spit into the wind and tugged on Superman's cape, there's still plenty of fun left in my middle-age (52 year old) tank! I'm self-educated, but since 1997, I've received my High School Diploma, completed a paralegal course and taken several college-level courses to keep my mind sharp. I've also written a dozen short stories and one of my goals is to become a published author.
While I was born in the Bronx, NY, I've spent most of my time in South Florida. There's nothing quite like the smell of ocean air. Whenever I'm outside, I like to snorkel or fish-weather permitting- and when I'm inside my home, I like to cook and watch movies. Besides just about any kind of comedy, some of my all time favorite movies are: On the Waterfront, Forrest Gump, Total Recall, Jurassic Park, Brave heart, and 3:10 to Yuma- to name a few.
I'm a voracious reader - everything from Ayn Rand to H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King, Isaac Asimov, Tolkien and the list goes on One of my favorite books is Stranger in a Strange Land, by Robert A. Heinlein - do you grok? Besides motorcycles and horses, my favorite ride is a 1966 Ford Mustang convertible, automatic.
My Irish/Italian family was strict, but loving, simple, and pleasant. And although I've had many friends, most have married and moved on following nature's course. Now I'm ready to meet some new friends, and what better way than using the World Wide Web!
